Ceramics Chairs – Call for help

I stumbled upon this at first sight not too spectacular photo at flickr. Looking somewhat closer at the chairs one realizes that they are not molded from plastic but entirely made of ceramics. Rachel Davidson who took this photo in December 2006 was so kind to inform me she saw these objects at last year´s Art Basel Miami. Still that wasn´t enough to google the artist. If anybody by any chance was in Miami and remembers these chairs or knows anything that could be helpful to identify the artist, I would be most grateful for a comment.

Hi Jens check this:

and natürlich this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Jungen
Holger, very nice – but I´ve pointed out Brian Jungen already back in September 2004 before he had all these great solo shows here
Nevermind. Keep your eyes open – there´s always good artists coming up .. ;)
nice concept, but i prefer the chair accepeted as it is, in plastic. By making these chairs in ceramics they are given another identity like artobjects(luckily the producer is still unknown).
nobody should claim the monoblock.
I prefer artists like Brian Jungen, who uses the chair with all its qualities.
the monoblock is beautiful as it is.
The blue chair resembles a Lowback chair made by Adams Mfg. and the red Highback chair resembles a US. Leisure model.
The ceramic chairs in question are
by Sam Durrant a Los Angeles based
artist. He is represented by Blum&Poe
in Culver City. He has an interesting
description of this work in the recent
issue of Art Forum which deals with fabrication. They were
all made in China by Chinese craftsman
turning the idea of production and
consumption on its head.
Having overlooked this last comment for two weeks or so among all he spam coming in, it´s time for a big Thanks! Cheers Joe!
