Still good: A short anatomy of Monobloc repairs

In the West, 95% of broken Monoblocs end up in the trash, which isn´t the worst thing: Polypropylene is a thermoplast and can be recycled easily if the trash is properly sorted. In other regions of the world, the price of a plastic chair often equals a day´s work salary or more, and people go to great lengths trying to keep the furniture. Below a short richly illustrated look at different approaches.

Four Fixes

My fav shirt is a 1997 or so Alexander McQueen houndstooth check with off-road tire patterns criss-cross printed over the standard fabric. Couple of years ago I only reluctantly gave that double-layered sweatshirt with dozens of burn holes in the upper layer to my then bf, although I purposefully bought it for him in order to lure him away from that off the shelve skater-cum-Abercrombie look.
